Our Annual Impact Report: See How We're Building a “Walk-With” Movement to End Homelessness

Every year, our Annual Impact Report tells a story that goes far beyond numbers. It reflects the generosity of thousands of walkers, donors, volunteers, sponsors, and nonprofit partners who believe that homelessness is solvable and that lasting change happens when communities come together.

We’re celebrating 10 Years of Impact in 2026! This year's report celebrates the incredible impact we've made together while recognizing that the need has never been greater. Across the country, homelessness continues to rise, making the work of organizations providing housing, healthcare, food, employment support, and other critical services more important than ever.

At Winter Walk, we believe that ending homelessness is within our reach, if we come together. Every person who walks with us, creates a fundraising page or makes a gift helps build momentum toward a future where everyone has a safe place to call home.

Our Annual Impact Report highlights the progress made possible through this collective effort. Thanks to our community, thousands of participants united across multiple cities to raise critical funds that directly support nonprofit organizations working every day to prevent and end homelessness. These organizations provide life-changing services for individuals and families experiencing housing insecurity while advocating for long-term solutions that address the root causes of homelessness.

The report also showcases the power of partnership. Corporate sponsors, community organizations, volunteers, and dedicated supporters all play an essential role in expanding our reach and increasing our impact. Their commitment helps us create meaningful events that educate communities, inspire action, and generate vital funding for frontline organizations.

Beyond fundraising, Winter Walk serves as an opportunity to raise awareness and change perceptions about homelessness. Every conversation sparked during a charity walk, every fundraising page shared online, and every participant who learns more about the realities of homelessness helps reduce stigma and build compassion. Together, we're creating a community that understands homelessness is a complex issue that deserves thoughtful solutions and sustained investment.

One of the most inspiring parts of this year's Impact Report is the stories behind the numbers. You'll meet individuals whose lives have been changed through the work of our nonprofit partners, hear from supporters who have made Winter Walk an annual tradition, and see how communities are coming together to create lasting change. These stories remind us that every dollar raised represents hope, opportunity, and dignity for someone facing homelessness.

As we look ahead, we're more committed than ever to growing this movement. We know that ending homelessness will take collaboration, innovation, and the continued support of people who believe everyone deserves a place to call home. Whether you've participated in one Winter Walk event or have been with us since the beginning, your involvement matters.

We invite you to explore our Annual Impact Report to see the difference your support has made. Thank you to every walker, volunteer, donor, sponsor, nonprofit partner, and advocate who has helped make this work possible. Together, we're proving that when communities unite around a common purpose, extraordinary things can happen. We're not just organizing a charity walk to help people experiencing homelessness - we're building a movement dedicated to ending homelessness for good.

The Winter Walk is a nationwide “Walk-With” movement powered by The MoreHomes Coalition that unites everyday people to raise critical funds for local nonprofits working to support people experiencing homelessness and move them into stable housing. Through peer to peer fundraising walks across the country, Winter Walk mobilizes thousands of people to take action, generating vital funding for frontline organizations and strengthening our partners’ ability to deliver services to those living on the street.

Government funding for homelessness has been obliterated despite the homeless population growing exponentially and non-profits focusing on the crises have been crippled resulting in increased suffering for people without homes. The Winter Walk fundraising event creates a powerful, unmatched force focused on eradicating homelessness by bringing housed and unhoused neighbors together to walk shoulder-to-shoulder, building the human connections that turn awareness and empathy into impactful action.

More Homes Coalition unites everyday people and non-profit organizations in a global advocacy and action network dedicated to eradicating homelessness by ensuring everyone has a place to call home. More Homes Coalition powers solutions – through funding and awareness – that move people from living on the street to stability, supporting every stage of the journey out of homelessness and into housing with judgment-free support. Homelessness is  unconscionable but curable. More Homes Coalition’s model to eradicate homelessness is the only approach that leverages the collective power of everyday people to support and strengthen the organizations working on the front lines of homelessness. creating a force that cannot be duplicated by any single organization or through government funding alone.
